Pasta with Meat Sauce

Pasta with Meat

About 6 servings

 

1 lb ground beef

1/2 stick butter

1/4 onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1 carrot, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

1/2 green pepper, chopped

2 14.5oz cans diced tomatoes

1 15 oz can tomato sauce

1 cube bouillon (chicken)

2-3 teaspoons oregano

salt and pepper

1 lb pasta

Brown the ground beef and drain. In a large sauce pan melt butter and sauté onion, garlic, carrot, celery, and pepper. Add remaining ingredients (except pasta.) Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour or until juices cook down. Add ground beef and heat through. Toss in with cooked pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (optional). sauce freezes well
