Cheesy Beef and Bean Dip

Beef and bean dip

1 lb ground beef

1 clove minced garlic

1 16 oz can refried beans

1 4oz can diced green chili's

2 cups salsa

1 8oz package cream cheese, cut into cubes

3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Tortilla chips

Brown the ground beef with garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Drain In a 3 quart casserole dish layer 1/2 the ground beef, 1/2 can beans, 1/2 can green chili's, 1 cup salsa, 1/2 package cream cheese cubes, 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese.

Repeat layers, Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 375 for about 30-40 minutes or until melted and bubbly.

Serve hot with tortilla chips.

Note: I like to add a few teaspoons of diced jalapenos with the Chile's for added spice.
